Born in Saxumdham, Suffolk.
Primary school was good for me. Good at Art.
First discovered art Primary School. Art was an outlet for happiness.
Secondary School in Saxhundham Modern School.
It was easy, I was Head Boy. I had a brilliant, Mr Rasmussem. He was theatre teacher.
Went to art school in Lowestoft for 2 years at 17 years old. I loved it because I was good at it. It inspired me. Matthew Frere-Smith was a sculpting teacher. He is brilliant.
At 19 years old, I went to Wimbledon School of Art to study Painting. I met my longlife friend, Steve here. He supported me throughout my life.
I got my Arts Teachers Certificate at Goldsmiths’ College.
In 1976, I teach at Raynes Park School.
In 1984, I started at Glyn School. It was awful.
I was at Stafford School for 19 years. I was deputy head teacher. It was incredible. I worked very hard.
I worked at Shene School for 3 weeks and 2 days. I did not enjoy it.
I went back to building, being a carpenter. I enjoyed it. I made anything, like wardrobes. Michael Lyndons Smith was a good friend.
After that, I retired. It was good. I could spend time on my art work.

They're good things that other people understand. They gave me a voice when I did not have one.
